Security Codes
When paying by credit card on the Star Flyer website or mobile website, you will need to enter your security code in addition to the credit card number and expiration date. Entering a security code improves the security of your credit card payment and prevents unauthorized use of your credit card. You can also receive your ticket by presenting your confirmation number and reservation number without having to bring your credit card.
Authentication Using a Security Code
Security codes are three-digit or four-digit numbers printed separately from the credit card number, and not printed on the credit card usage statement. Because the security code is known only to the person in possession of the card, it provides greater security when purchasing tickets online.
Location of Security Code on Card
The security code is the last three digits of the number printed on the “Authorized Signature” field of the credit card.
Some credit card companies might print a four-digit security code on the front of the card.
Usage Instructions

Step 1 Purchasing
When paying by credit card on the Star Flyer website or mobile website, you will need to enter your security code in addition to the credit card number and expiration date.
You will be shown a confirmation number and reservation number. Please make a copy of them. -
Step 2 Communicate this information (in the event the purchaser and passenger are different people)
Please notify the passenger of the confirmation number and reservation number.

Step 3 Boarding
Enter the confirmation number and reservation number on the
self-service check-in machine at the airport of departure and carry out the check-in procedure.
Cautions
- The confirmation number is used as an authentication code for reservation changes, ticket receipt, and refunds, so please do not lose this number. If you forget your confirmation number, we cannot provide it even if you contact us.
- Please note that when you reserve online, the confirmation number is only shown on the confirmation number check screen. Be sure to make a copy of the reservation number and confirmation number.
- When checking in, you will need the credit card you used to purchase (the person whose name the credit card is under must be present) the ticket or your confirmation number and reservation number to check in.
- Some credit card companies do not have security codes.
- The security code is not the credit card’s PIN.
